We find that we still live in the same world around us, the one we were used to, the one we knew how to navigate, and now the world we knew is hostile to this new life we said “yes” to. We find that it directly opposes our new biblical faith, and being a disciple of Jesus is not easy in this world.

And to make matters worse, we realize we have a fight on our hands, and it’s with ourselves. We seem to find this internal resistance, our human nature, that is brisling against the commands and teaching of Jesus and the bible. We are finding it harder than we thought to surrender and submit to the life we are being called to live.

But this really matters! We know that it matters, in ways we can’t always articulate. Us getting this right, figuring out this new faith, matters to the entire human race. But it starts with us individually.

I had this struggle early on. After several years to fighting through, wondering when it might get easier, I realized that the problem was not my faith or the world around me. I discovered that my problem, your problem, our problem comes down to two things, expectations and commitment. The world doesn’t change because we do, we are not in heaven yet and the world (culture and people) will continue to crash into us.

After following Jesus now for three decades, I can help you get on the path to abundant life in Jesus. It’s right in front of you; it’s not out of your reach! I have helped many others get on this empowering path and I want to help you. I don’t hold any secret knowledge, everything you need to know and to do is right at your fingertips. Step 3: Mature in our faith and help others do the same thing. This is God’s solution to the problem. You’ll learn how to become a disciple maker.
